Effective January 1, 2026, France is updating its regulations on dangerous goods (FRG-07).
These regulations now require the provision of a 24/7 emergency telephone number not only on air waybills for dangerous goods (DGD), but also for dangerous goods that do not require a declaration.

The shipments concerned, both exported from France and imported into France, are as follows:
- Under the Exceptional Quantities regime (§2.6)
- Lithium or sodium batteries – Section II
- Biological samples (UN 3373)
- Dry ice (UN1845)
- Genetically modified organisms (UN3245)
And other dangerous goods exempt from DGD (e.g., specific provisions A123, A197, etc.)
It is important to anticipate this compliance requirement to avoid any delays or refusals of shipment.
