Connect Chronopost to AtomicSeller to generate labels with the services enabled in your carrier contract. The configuration must match your Chronopost account, product codes, sender address, and operational defaults.
Before you start #
- Have your Chronopost account ID, password, and sub-account information if your contract uses one.
- Obtain the exact product and service codes enabled in your Chronopost contract.
- Prepare the default sender name, address, country ISO code, phone number, and email address.
Add the Chronopost shipping account #
- Open Shipping > Shipping services.
- Select Add shipping account, then choose Chronopost.
- Enter a unique SHIPPINGSERVICEKEY and select the relevant MerchantKey.
- Complete Account ID, Sub account when applicable, and Password.
- Set the default label format, weight, deposit delay, service code, return-label behavior, delivery notification, and shipping options required by your workflow.
- Complete the Default sender section. Use a valid country ISO code and contact details accepted by Chronopost.
- Select Check connection. Resolve any authentication or contract error before saving.
- Select Save, then create a test label with a non-production test order or your approved test procedure.
Allowed product codes #
Allowed product codes limits label creation to Chronopost services authorized for this shipping account. Enter only the codes confirmed in your current contract. This protects negotiated pricing, prevents the wrong service from being selected, and reduces carrier rejections.
Do not copy a product-code list from an old environment without checking it with Chronopost. Codes and contractual availability can differ by account, destination, delivery mode, and period.
Troubleshooting #
- Connection check fails: verify the account ID, password, sub-account, and that the web-service access is enabled by Chronopost.
- A service is rejected: compare the selected default service and allowed product codes with the active contract.
- The label contains incorrect sender data: correct the Default sender fields and regenerate the label according to your cancellation policy.
- Unexpected weight or format: check the default weight, order weight, label format, and shipping options.
If the issue continues, create a support ticket with the shipping-service key, the test date and time, and the error message. Never include the Chronopost password or an access token.
