There are 3 ways to create multi parcels shipping:
- Web user interface
- Excel file load
- Webservice
Let’s see the Multiparcels (Multipackages) Web user interface :
First of all, open an existing order and go to the “Delivery” tab.
Then click on the right arrow in front of “Packages”. This will open an accordion.
If you want to add a package, click on the double plus button.
Fields:
Number : This is an incremental number. 1 for the first package, 2 for the second package …
Package Status : This is the same status than the parcel status. Please see here.
Weight, Length, Height, Width : Standard shipping data to be provided.
Customer Reference : This is a free reference. If empty, AtomicSeller will fill it up with the Order reference.
Packaging description : Text which describes the content : (Clothes, Batteries, Cosmetics, electronic parts …)
Insured value : The amount of insured value for the parcel / package.
How to generate all package labels manually :
Click on “Documents and tracking” then click on “Generate Label”.
This will generate the labels of all packages which has the status “T”.
Advice for UPS:
First prepare all parcels. Then ensure that all parcels have the status “T”. Then generate the labels.
You will see that all labels are numbered like this: 1/5 2/5 … 5/5
Only this way will allow you to benefit from the reduced rate of multi-parcel.
If there is a problem, revert all packages to “T” status and regenerate the label batch.
Let’s see the Excel File load for packages
- Enter the packages on the Excel file. Please the Packages section of Excel file format
- Then, Upload the excel file
- Then check the web User Interface
- Then generate all packages labels
UPS specific: You don’t have to insert products description. Only packages are necessary.
