This procedure explains how to connect a Cdiscount seller account, operated through Octopia services, to AtomicSeller so that orders can be retrieved and shipment information can be sent back.

Before you begin #
- Your Cdiscount seller account is active and you can access the Octopia Seller Zone.
- You are allowed to manage API connections or contact Cdiscount/Octopia support.
- You have permission to manage stores in AtomicSeller.
- You know your seller ID and can have the API user name for the AtomicSeller connection confirmed.
Prepare the Cdiscount/Octopia authorization #
Important. The legacy Cdiscount SOAP API has been retired. Do not follow an old password-based SOAP procedure. The current connection uses Octopia APIs and an aggregator or integration-partner authorization.
- In the Octopia Seller Zone, open the page used to manage API credentials or aggregator connections.
- Find AtomicSeller and authorize it to access your seller account. If AtomicSeller is not offered, open a request with Cdiscount/Octopia support and keep the ticket number.
- Retrieve your Seller ID.
- Ask AtomicSeller support to confirm the API user name to enter. Depending on the account history, this can be the API login provided when the connection was activated.
- Do not paste a Client secret into the User name field: the AtomicSeller Cdiscount form does not request that secret.
Configure the store in AtomicSeller #
- In AtomicSeller, open Stores, select Add a store, then select Cdiscount.
- Under Main settings, enter a readable Store name and a short unique Store key.
- Enter the API user name confirmed for the AtomicSeller connection in User name.
- Enter your Cdiscount/Octopia Seller ID in Seller ID.
- Complete the advanced settings only when your organization uses a MerchantKey, WMS, EORI number, or default warehouse.
- Select Save, then Check connection.
- When the test succeeds, select Get new orders from store and review the result under Orders to process.
Expected result. AtomicSeller confirms the Cdiscount connection and can retrieve the orders authorized for this seller account.
Troubleshooting #
Credentials are rejected. Check the Seller ID, API user name, and the authorization granted to AtomicSeller. Do not enter the email address used for the Seller Zone unless it is also your API login.
401 or 403 error. Confirm that the aggregator connection is still active. If the account is being migrated from the legacy SOAP API, send the Cdiscount/Octopia ticket number to AtomicSeller support.
No orders are retrieved. Confirm that a recent order exists, the seller account is active, and the Cdiscount sales channel is authorized for the connection.
Tracking is not sent. Check the carrier, tracking number, and order status before retrying.
