Retrieve orders from a store

This procedure explains how to review automatic retrieval, start a manual retrieval for one store, and find the new orders to process.

Prerequisites #

  • The store has been created and Check connection succeeds.
  • The channel API permissions allow orders to be read.
  • Source statuses and the retrieval period are configured in the Scheduler tab.
  • At least one eligible order exists in the sales channel.

Good to know. The Scheduler normally retrieves orders automatically. Manual retrieval is intended for initial testing or diagnosis of one specific store.

Retrieve the orders #

  1. Open Stores. Find the relevant store by using the list filters.
  2. Open the store. Review its main settings and connection status first.
  3. Review the Scheduler. Check that retrieval is enabled and that the date range and order statuses are correct.
  4. Return to the Admin tab. Locate Get new orders from store.
  5. Start retrieval. Select Get new orders from store once and allow the process to finish.
  6. Open Orders to process. Use Shipping process > Orders to process.
  7. Filter the list. Search for the expected Store key, OrderKey, status, or creation date.
  8. Open a test order. Confirm that its address, products, and delivery details were imported.

Alternative: import a file #

  • From Orders to process, use Upload orders file to import a supported file.
  • File import is a separate journey; validate the format and column headers before upload.

Expected result. New eligible orders appear in Orders to process with the correct Store key and can be opened for review.

Troubleshooting #

No orders appear. Check the connection, source statuses, Scheduler period, and whether the channel contains an eligible order.

One order is missing. Search its OrderKey, review its channel status, then use Resync order from the order page if it already exists.

An order is duplicated. Do not restart the action while a retrieval is running; check the uniqueness of the OrderKey and Store key.

Retrieval reports an access error. Renew the token or API permissions, then run Check connection before trying again.
